I have been battling a a pretty tough head cold the last couple of days and I noticed something. E cigs are much better for a sore throat than regular cigarettes.

As I’m sure any longtime smoker will tell you, it is hard to smoke when you have an irritated throat. Some people I have talked to over the years have even suggested to me that if you are ever going to try and quit smoking, starting during a cold is your best bet for success. That makes logical sense to me, although I personally never had a soar throat that was bad enough to make me not want to smoke, I understand the sentiment.

Well, I finally have a soar throat and the first thing I noticed this mourning was that puffing on a electronic cigarette is a lot more gentle on a soar throat than regular smoking. As I said before, if you are a smoker you know what a pain in the butt smoking with a sore throat is, and you also know what a pain it is not to smoke. You are already irritated because you do not feel well and you only compound that irritation by not being able to smoke. With e cigs, you do not have to worry about that at all. They make being sick a lot less traumatic for smoker, believe me.
